Renault Kiger Facelift Launched: Prices, Variants, Features and All Details

Renault India has officially rolled out the updated 2025 Renault Kiger, marking it as the second product under the company’s ambitious “Rethink” brand transformation strategy. The compact SUV, known for its affordability and practicality, has received a fresh round of cosmetic updates and feature enhancements while retaining its tried-and-tested engine lineup.

With an introductory price tag starting at ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to ₹11.29 lakh, the facelifted Kiger continues to hold its position as one of the most value-friendly offerings in the crowded sub-4 metre SUV segment. Prices for AMT-equipped versions are yet to be announced.

The facelifted model is around ₹14,000 costlier than its predecessor, but Renault has compensated with refreshed styling and more safety features across the range.

Exterior Updates: Subtle Yet Fresh

The 2025 Kiger gets a reworked front fascia, featuring Renault’s new corporate logo and a redesigned grille. The bumper has also been mildly tweaked, now featuring silver accents for a premium touch. The familiar split headlamp cluster with DRLs and fog lamps remains unchanged.

On the sides, the SUV now rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels, while the rear bumper has been slightly updated for a sportier stance. A brand-new Green shade joins the existing palette of nine body colours, which includes options like White, Silver, Blue, Black, and multiple dual-tone finishes with contrasting black roofs.

Interior & Features: More Safety, Same Practicality

Inside the cabin, Renault has introduced a dual-tone black and light grey dashboard that makes the cabin feel more airy. The biggest highlight of this update is the standardisation of safety features across all trims. Every variant of the new Kiger now comes with- Six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). This makes the SUV significantly safer compared to the outgoing version.

Other equipment continues unchanged, with features such as: 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Digital instrument cluster with configurable display, Drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport), Ambient lighting, Arkamys-tuned sound system, PM2.5 cabin air filter & Automatic climate control.

Powertrain Options: Same Engines, Multiple Transmissions

The mechanical package of the 2025 Kiger has been carried forward without changes. Buyers can choose between two petrol engines: 1.0L Naturally Aspirated Petrol – 72 bhp & Gearbox options: 5-speed manual / 5-speed AMT (prices awaited). 1.0L Turbo Petrol – 100 bhp & Gearbox options: 5-speed manual / CVT automatic. While the performance figures remain unchanged, Renault believes the addition of more safety kit and cosmetic improvements will make the Kiger an even stronger value proposition in its categor

Positioning in the Market

Despite the facelift and a mild price hike, the Renault Kiger continues to be one of the most affordable sub-compact SUVs in India. Competing against models like the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Nissan Magnite, and Hyundai Exter, it appeals to buyers who want a stylish, feature-rich, yet budget-friendly SUV.
